Someone, who shall remain nameless, had bounced off one of her old playpen panels once too often. Since there was now a large hole, it was time to replace the panel. No problem—I have extra panels back near the pigs. What should have been a couple hours at the most turned into a three-day project.
In six-months time a tree grew through the fence panels and was now embedded in the fence. I must say that this is a first. I am amazed at the size of this tree. It was over 20 feet tall and part of the truck was over 4 inches in diameter. Oh, did I mention the part in the fence was the thickest part of the darn tree?
Almost finished…
Did I mention that the fence panel that I really wanted to use had the same problem—only worse?
There were 4 hours of chiseling after this photo was taken. Today the panel is in place and the monster is in her playpen. Kalya is happy to have her out of the house for a few hours! 🙂
Wow!!! Some project. I can’t believe the tree grew like that in 6 months!! Next time you’re in Michigan, stop by my house. I have plenty of tree work at my house :0
No problem! What’s for dinner? I can hear Julie in the background saying, “Oh Rita—be careful what you wish for!” 😉
No one is going to Rita or St
acy’s house without me!!!
Dang Carole what did you feed that thing???
6 months you say? Amazing.
