Last night I took Nuke out for a walk and it was snowing like CRAZY with about four inches already on the ground. We were only out there for a few minutes but when we came in Nuke had snow all over his back. I knew that meant we would have an adventure today! Sure enough I woke up to semi-blue skies and 28-degree weather. I barely even needed my fleece jacket to stay warm.
We loaded up and headed to Blue Mountain for a hike.
First we checked the weather pumpkin for the forecast:
Looks like SNOW!!!!
After a few hours of hiking and playing in the snow, I loaded Nuke back up in his private limo….
….and we went to the Go Fetch store for a bath, where I got tons of sad puppy eyes made at me. But now he’s fluffy and clean and smells nice for the holidays. Then I picked up some hot pasta fagiole soup, which tasted SO GOOD after all that activity!
I really need to make up some Moo business cards and start a little side business doing pet photography.
Alas, today was the last day of my staycation. Back to work tomorrow. 🙁

Perfect day for hiking, you can feel the sun through your pictures and it is also clear where Montana got its moniker “Big Sky.” I think you should get business cards made up for your dog photo biz. Why would Nukey need a bath after all that fresh air, snow, and snow?
He hasn’t had a bath in a long time – but last week we had two major snow melts where he was playing in slush and mud. He was definitely getting a bit rank. 🙂
