Today the pups are one week old, but I have yet to share these photos taken on their 2nd day of life. The lighting is florescent , it was after dark, and I didn’t use a flash. Shooting dark puppies under very low light makes it hard for the camera to find focus. Plus I was not looking through the viewfinder I was sitting in the whelping box and put the camera on the blankets and aimed, what I was aiming at exactly I was never sure. The pups look pretty much the same only much fatter and bigger, change of collars twice, their noses and pads of their feet have turned black and their eyes are just starting to get little tiny slits between the eyelids….so just look at the pictures and imagine all of that. 🙂 Next time I will use a flash.
