Excellent job, Dale! I just love the first photo and Amelia under the branches. Millie staying alert could be a cover shot.

Looks like all of you were having a blast. Good pictures too.

I left some deer antlers at Gustavo’s for Millie. Hopefully you had a chance to pick them up. Millie chewing on the leg reminded me of that.

I harvested the biggest buck every for me. Ended up as 6 grocery bags of meat – that’s how I size a deer. I don’t use inches, centimeters or pounds. LT will continue to get her raw lunch for quite some time. Still time to harvest a nice doe (3-4 bags).

By the bag, similar to my husband’s measurement of freezer space. How many points was your buck?

He was a seven point – one of his brow tines was broken off early in the growth cycle. Every other rack I have easily fits inside of this rack. I’ll post a picture when I put LT up again.

@Dave
Dave- We haven’t been to Gustavo’s in a few weeks, so we haven’t picked them up. Thanks for thinking of us, though, that was very nice of you. We’ll get them as soon as Gustavo gets back from his warm, sunny vacation. How does LT like the snow? Millie goes crazy, she thinks it’s a winter wonderland!

LT is happy to go anyplace with anyone (except today’s incident). She is real playful in the snow – climbing the mounds – burrowing with her nose.

We got our rabies shot today. As we were waiting a young man came out of exam with two bulldogs. The growed and move towards LT – she started to retreat, knocking over the chairs in the waiting room. So she felt she was getting attacked from the front and rear. She jumped straight up on a chair and perched and cried and barked at the same time. Dr. Richards was not amused. Nor was I, I thought she was injured from a chair falling on her.

After the bulldogs left he said the young man is a hired hand and doesn’t enjoy servicing the dogs. He should learn to hold a shorter leash.

No worse for wear now.

LT was 39.5 pounds and will be 4 moths on Saturday. Her tail touches and drags a little on the ground. Dr. Richards said that was a sign of a big girl.
