Kira (Quellie vom Kirschenatl schH2) has had milk for the last week, showing no other signs until this evening when her temperature dropped to the 98 degree range. This indicates the pups will arrive within 24 hours. She also has not eaten today and threw up a little, both normal tell tale signs of up-coming delivery. Panting, uncomfortable, and restless, Kira is contemplating the wild afternoon spent with Cuervo vom Huerto Hof. She truly enjoyed her time with the handsome-stallion male, but now she is wondering if it was worth all this discomfort. Kira in her contemplative mood:
Can’t wait to see those puppies! Boy, Millie sure looks like her mama!
I am so excited!! I can’t wait to see those pups, she better have males!! 🙂
Awwww…she’s so gorgeous and I think she has thee best looking puppies 🙂 ok, so I’m a little biased. Roman looks so much like his mommy.
Rita, I’m with you! And of course I’m biased since I have “Mini-Kira.” I love all of Julie’s girls—there is something special about each of them but Kira will always hold a special place in my heart.
As you can see last night she wasn’t pleased about having that camera stuck in her face. Resting quietly right now.
Soon she’ll have that sappy smile on her face. Keep the ice-cream handy and give her a hug from me.
labor has started, and a lot of panting still
I hope everything goes well for Kira and her pups.
