No wonderful puppy shots or prize winners this time, but I thought I’d share some photgraphs I took yesterday morning and then again this morning from our back yard.
If we both stare really hard, we might actually see something down there!
The following day but about an hour earlier. You can really see the mist just above the lake on these two shots which show the actual true colors as I saw them. With the exception of a little cropping, I have altered nothing.
Andrea, these are wonderful photographs and what a beautiful place to live.
Thanks Lynda. We really enjoy living here. It would be nice to have a slightly larger house with more land, but then we’d miss the lake. Ah well, I guess you can’t have it all!
That’s your back yard? Very beautiful! You are giving those Montana Mountains a run for their scenic beauty.
When I read the title, my first thought was these were going to be pictures from England…you know the mist thing.
Yes, that’s our back yard. I wish it was a little larger, but as I said to Lynda, you can’t have it all. In the summer the dogs love to go splodging in the lake which does not allow motor boats, just rowing boats, small trollers. kayaks and canoes!
Pictures from England entitled Sunrise and Mist? You must jest! At this time of year it would have read “Grey Skies and Rain” or even to quote ELO “Mr Blue Sky please tell us why you had to hide away for so long”
I got the “mist” part right ?!?! That is super tht no motors are allowed on your lake.
Oooo so calm and serene!
Andrea, I thought you said that there were no “prize winners” here. These are all prize-winning photos! Very beautiful.
Thank you Carole – that means a lot coming from someone of your talents!
Beautiful pictures Andrea!
