Alta-Tollhaus Kapone is awarded VP2 at the North American Sieger Show, Fairfax VA!!!!! Yahooooo! Kapone was a standout in the class. Congratulations to Karen and Al for their dedication in preparing Kapone and themselves for this show. This is a difficult show, not only is the competition tough, but it is also physically and mentally challenging for all involved. I was in the ring photographing and I could not say a word to help Al out, he was on his own….and this is only the second time ever Al and Karen have been to a dog show. The first was the weekend before. He did all the double handling by himself and that ring was big! You guys did great! More news to follow… I am heading to bed to work on that sleep deficit of mine.

It was a whirlwind of a weekend, but certainly worth it and alot of fun.
I know, but Matt made sure DeNiro and Kora were spoiled in my absence, so at least I knew they were all home safe and sound. I had photographs with me, but it wasn’t until later on Saturday evening, I realised I hadn’t got them out. I brought some of our trip to MN to show Julie, but like you said it was such a crazy weekend ………
It just crossed my mind that you were there when that dog wanted to have me for lunch, or whatever was on his mind…..did you or anyone else happen to get a picture of that? I can’t imagine what my face must have looked like! I can chuckle about it now, but I have to say it was a little unnerving at the time.
I just missed it. I know you and Julie told me what had happened, but I guess it must have happened just before I got there. Wasn’t Carole taking photographs at the same time? Maybe she got some shots. Glad you didn’t get hurt!
Forget K-Pony…K-Horsey! What a lovely dog! Awesome you guys for getting out there! Cannot believe that is the same puppy I knew just weeks ago. A very handsome dude.
