When can I expect your arrival? You should really wait until my back is better. Otherwise, you might get tired of piggybacking me around. 🙂

Piggy backing you? HA…I was thinking more like a wheel barrow or a shopping cart!!
I have to go on vacation first, holding puppies is hard work, and a job I would just hate to have. I guess I will have to sit on the blog and watch the excitement from the side lines.
Take Care.
We’d better use a shopping cart. That way there’s room for all your new camera equipment!
Where are your pictures? Have you taken it out the box yet? Fire that baby up!!
Glad to see these pups are started on their conditioning program! I have had some people ask about their pink noses. When the pups are first born it is common that the pigment on their noses and pads of their feet is not developed yet and they are pink, in a very short time the pink is gone and replaced with black. Which brings up another thought the AKC Shepherd people refer to a dog as having good pigment, when they are talking about fur color. To me, pigment is related to skin coloration and not fur color. What do you think?
Technically, I would say that your statement is correct. I think the term pigment, referring to fur color, came about because of all of the faded black/tans, faded sables, etc. Let’s face it—no one advertises faded this or that, but it sounds pretty good to advertise richly pigmented dogs/pups. I have read critiques where the judge refers to a dog as richly pigmented and the judge was referring to fur color. In which case, Alta-Tollhaus dogs are very richly pigmented!
Aww! They are so cute. I love the legs in the air in the first picture! It makes me sleepy just looking at them!
Geeze Carol you tuckered the little guys right out. Darling pictures!
I’ll hold the puppies for ya. I need to come down and break in my present. LOL
