Thanks Julie and Lies for your input regarding settings for snow photos. These are some of the shots I took prior to your advice, certainly not as crisp as Lies’ shots! The lighting seems way off on most of the shots. Actually, the only one I feel worthy of posting here is the one showing DeNiro’s hot breath. Anyway, if we get more snow, I’ll be out again and see if I can use your ideas to improve.
On a couple of the shots you can see Kora’s “Pit Bull” type collar. DeNiro sometimes gets a little too excited when they play – we’ll have to work on that one!
I see what you mean, not up to your normal standards at all. Maybe your camera and/or lens needs to go to Cannon for an adjustment? Carole told me about a super easy way to fix WB through Adobe Bridge.
The dogs look healthy, happy, and handsome!
@Julie
Yes I know – really disappointing, but I needed you to see them so you knew what I was talking about. It wasn’t a very bright day, but that’s no excuse.
I hope the camera/lens doesn’t have to go back to Canon, they’re only about a year old! Really, I think it is just my ineptitutde. Now I’m hoping for more snow to try again – sorry Karen……..!
@Andrea
OK Andrea, I just seen where we have a winter storm watch for us through Wednesday….Now I know who’s to blame!! I hope you get your photography all figured out with this storm..please don’t order any more! J/K
