These pix are better than yesterday’s, but still not what I want. It certainly isn’t a subject that you can shoot all day—it is a neck killer. Unless I am shooting photos of dogs, I find it very difficult to bake my brains in the sun. Unfortunately for you, I’m not giving up on skydiving until I get good.
They look good to me. How far away were you? What kind of lens did you use? I ask because I took several pictures of people paragliding and they looked like blobs when you zoom in. If you wanna feel better about yours I could always send you mine to look at!!! 🙂
The jumps start at 5,000 to 13,500 feet. I don’t bother taking when they are tiny dots in the sky. However, since the divers come in so fast, it is important to line up your target! I’m using my 70-300 lens and taking shots from a distance and almost completely on top of me.
My Dad told me 2 things fall from the sky, birdshit and idiots.
Julie, your Dad was a very smart man!
This looks like a blast (to observe from the ground). Carole, did you do a tandem jump?
Julie I agree, your Dad was very wise. JH 🙂
