Yes, we are Chicago Bears fans. I thought you might enjoy seeing pics from a recent outing (very hot day). As you can see, they are getting along great, but she won’t leave him alone. She also hogs all the water and won’t let him rest. Oh yes, she is very sensitive about her oversized tongue. Hope you like them.

Hi, Kimberly,
Great pix of your two darlings. They look like they are best friends having a fun outing. Gia’s water bowl looks kinda small – doesn’t she have a wading pool?

@Margot, Good idea, she can’t shut him out from the entire pool can she?

Hi Kimberly,

The second photo is my favorite! I love those happy expressions—you can tell that both are having a great time. I think Gia will be good for Chief. Thank you for sharing—keep them coming!

@Carole, the second picture is my favorite too, my attempt at an action shot!

Hi Kimberly – Chief looks great – I bet he gets a lot more tired out now that he has a “buddy” to run around with (or should I say to run him around?). Gia looks adorable – I bet she is a lot of fun – my last shepherd was a female and I adored her! Chief has a lot of similarities to Ben – at least in pictures – I would love to see him in person someday. If you ever bring him up to Julie’s – or to the Lansing area, let me know – and I would gladly meet up with you – I still think we should have a “party” at Julie’s – and bring all our Alta Tollhaus dogs!

@Karen B, you are so right – Gia runs Chief ragged! They were out together last night and got so exhausted, I swear he is still tired today! Good for me though- they are much easier to handle ha ha…Funny you should mention taking him to Julie’s as I was planning that earlier in the year and spoke with Julie about keeping him for me when I go see my sister in Ann Arbor. Then we got the puppy so I will have to wait until she is bigger to go anywhere. Maybe Julie can keep them both! I would love to meet you and Ben and will gladly let you know. I know you are very fond of Chief. The party sounds like a great idea – now all you have to do is convince Julie!

Did you and Ben ever go there for your visit? I didn’t see any pictures on the blog, but have been so busy with the new baby, I may have missed some. Good hearing from you. Kimberly
