No Kayla, no deer, no turkeys. Now I’m down to bugs!
This fuzzy guy on the fence caught my eye. It wasn’t until later that I noticed that he had friends.
I was focused on the drop of water—do you see that pesky little jumping spider in the background? I hate those guys! They are very tiny and way too fast. I did not see it at all when taking this shot:
Great shots, Carole! The red fence wire makes all the other reds in the bugs pop. The caterpillar looks like a bristly scrub brush. What kind of moth or butterfly will it metamorphosis into? What lens are you using and other pertinent details?
Thanks, Margot. I have no idea about the caterpillar, but he was like a bristly brush. The shots were taken early morning in deep shade so I used a flash, 70-300 lens, 1/60s at f/5.6.
I like the Friends on the second one, I saw them right away!
I like the friends on the second one too. I did not see them when I was looking through the lens—too blind!
Great shots Carole. Did you use product on your little guy? He’s so shinny and full… JH 🙂
Ha, ha, Julie! You caught me! Yep, I spayed him with my secret show coat formula and then used the old back-brush method. 😉
Very nice!
