Gracie has not even been here a full day yet and she is already swimming and posing for photos. She’s met new people and the entire Good Shepherd clan and will start puppy kindergarten next week. She is well-named because she is truly amazing. Did I mention I am head over paws in love with this beautiful baby girl!? Thank you, Julie, for breeding the best dogs in the world!
Margot – let me be the first to congratulate you on your new baby – she is adorable! Will you still get a Zucca baby later on – you seemed to have your heart set on one? I love the swimming pic…..
Hi, Kimberly, Thank you. How is your new addition to your own family? I think Gracie will be keeping me busy for the next couple of years with school and extracurriculars, so for now, I would say probably not, but when it comes to Julie’s pups, I would never say never!
Congratulations Margot on your new baby! I love the pictures. I can’t believe she is in the pool, she had never been in water at my house.
Thanks for this wonderful pup, Julie! Not only does she like getting in the pool, she is also interested in biting the spray from the garden hose – a very fun activity that all my dogs love.
Congratulations Margot! I knew it wouldn’t be long before Gracie was in the pool. She was certainly having fun in her water bowl. I’ll post my photos of you & Gracie shortly.
Oh, Margot! Congratulations! She is SO cute and SO Beautiful! I have always loved the name Grace (even considered it for Leah, but worried she might turn out to be a klutz 🙂
So I bet you’re happy you have that fancy attached-to-the-wall water bowl – does it work?
Lindi cant wait to play with her new Aunt, but we’ll wait ’till she’s a little bigger.
See you in a couple weeks. In the meantime, give that Gracie a big hug and a pet from me.
Thanks for the lovely compliments on Gracie, Karen. The attached to the wall water bowl is actually a bucket holder for horses but since some of my dogs are the size of ponies, somehow, it seems appropriate and yes, it does work quite well. I have a strong feeling that Lindi and Gracie will become good friends when they meet because they are both such superior specimens with great social skills!
Congratulations to both Margot and Gracie! That puppy is beautiful — and just looks so sweet. I must say, I think Gracie has won the lottery — going to live with Margot and at the Good Shepherd Farm to boot — it doesn’t get much better than that! I am looking forward to many of Margot’s photos of Gracie in the future…. please.
I also really like the name and was considering it for my next girl puppy. Then my nephew up and married a woman named Grace. That was not a problem for me, but my sister-in-law told me that ‘some people’ might not like sharing their name with a dog. Can you imagine? I just don’t understand these non-dog people…
Congrats again, Margot, and please share more of your photos — I really enjoy them.
Hi, Laura and Lance, I don’t know how I missed your lovely comments but thank you very much! I feel the same way about your photos of Lance. What’s he up to these days? I will share my photos but you have to also, ok?
@Margot, Sorry Margot, I’m a different Laura. You helped me a couple years ago with Kaline (a Chopper / Vando puppy). I really enjoyed working with you and seeing your beautiful piece of the world. I always enjoy your posts and a little peak into that world.
Hi, Laura, OK, instead of Chevy’s brother, it’s the Laura with Chevy’s nephew, Kaline. I remember you and handsome Kaline very well. Why don’t you post some photos of him? It is one big family here and we like to see everyone’s beloved darlings. Thank you for your kind words!
Margot Congratulations on your beautiful puppy Gracie! (of course she LOVES water) … Is that not an Alta Toll-haus trait/requirement?
Hi, Cheryl, Thanks for your lovely words on Gracie. I am so glad that she loves the water cuz it is keeping her clean and cool! How is Miss Tasha? I haven’t seen a photo of her in some time now. I posted some pix of her handsome bro Jack today.
