It was NOT that long ago a cute puppy face can get humans to WoW all over me.
Cooling down is my favorite pasttime. And the wet look is the best way to show off a spiky hair-do.
Floppy ears also used to be in fashion and humans were amused by them. *sigh* Little did I know it was going to soon change!!!

TODAY, I stand proudly as a GSD ready to be my pack’s best companion. I guess growing up has its perks.
You do know that I am only doing this because there is a tug toy in front of me.

It is all about getting the right angulation. All I can say is I do look more like my Momma Maika. Don’t you think so???

Carole, thanks! Jaeger is Orange Boy from the litter. Michelle has Brady who is Purple/Blue Boy. Hope my memory serves me right about the colors. Jaeger is about 4 1/2 weeks old now.

@Carole, Yes he was orange and then switched to blue. Purple boy was always purple boy.
OK, thanks. When you are as old as me (much younger than Julie) it is easy to get the colors confused. But I do remember Brady & Jaeger! I can’t wait to see the pups.
And sometimes Julie changes the colors/collars!

Bernard I like him a lot. I like seeing how all the pups grow. Even all the same “type” there is so much variety. Nikon was still almost completely black at that age, Jaeger has a beautiful range of colors.
Lies, thanks for the kind words especially coming from someone who knows her breed and takes beautiful pictures. I agree that the puppies continue to evolve in their color of their coat and it will be a surprise till who knows when.
Jaeger has excellent structure! I can see both Digger and Maika in him.

I was scrolling down and only seen the top 1/4 of the first picture when I stopped and thought, what the heck is that? I couldn’t stop laughing what a great dog, and nice pics, I love the first pic also.
Al & Karen, thanks and glad you had a good laugh. Jaeger does that to us all the time – consistently brings a smile to us whenever he shows his antics and super intelligence. Anyone who has a GSD from Julie and the GSD is now a part of the family, can certainly relate to the joys of such companionship. Cheers!
