Talked Rhona into going to Lake Woodruff with me this morning. Figured there was safety in numbers. 😉 Right off the bat, we met the Sandhills. This is the drive that goes into the wildlife sanctuary.

Carole, the diversity of wildlife you are able to photograph is just awesome!!!!! Beautiful, expressive shots!
Thank you, Margot. There are still large portions of FL that are in its natural state. Disney and the beaches are just a tiny part of what is offered here. I guess it is best to keep the tourists in the “tourist” section and leave the wilderness alone.
Margot, if you ever come for that visit, we will not be going to Disney!

Oh my goodness how funny! What a cute family!
They are thinking who do you think you are driving that ugly metal on our road. Charming birds, quirky and funny!
