It is said that if a dragonfly lands on your pole while fishing, it will bring you good luck. When a dragonfly lands on the woodpile, it means that it is lucky to have escaped the jaws of Kayla!
This last one has nothing to do with dragonflys. Julie, I just wanted to let you know that your lemon tree is doing just fine!
Carole, I love these pictures! The dragonfly is so colorful and delicate. Just lovely.
I have counted at least 20 different dragonflies in MI but never one as colorful as this beauty! Are these Meyer lemon blossoms? They look ready to bloom – are they fragrant? Thanks for sharing your tropical paradise with these gorgeous shots, Carole.
I am glad that you’ve enjoyed the dragonfly. Now that I’ve seen one up close and personal, I feel bad that Kayla has been trying to catch one.
Margot, you know your lemons! When the lemons are ready, I will send some to you. Yes, they are fragrant!
Great pictures as always. Your bokeh is incredible. The background colors you capture in your pictures is beautiful. I think you could launch a paint line using your background colors.
Thank you, Julie. That is a great compliment. I like doing photos that have good bokeh.
