If you can’t get enough of German Shepherds think about attending one or all three big events in Germany. The first is the BundessiegerZuchtschau (BSZS) also called the Siegerhauptzuchtschau (SHZ) or you can just call it the “Sieger” show. The BSZS will be held August 28 – 30, in Ulm. Ulm is Bavaria, the people are very friendly, the food is delicious, and the area picturesque. There will be thousands of GSD competing from all over the world!

Heading North to Stettbach, Germany, the Bundesleistungshüten (BLH) will be held September 25-27, 2009. Stettbach is the home town of Kirschental kennels and the BLH is hosted by the Füller’s home schutzhund club. The BLH is the sieger show of Sheep Herding competitions and a very special event this year! The Shepherd in the logo below is the iconic Karl Füller.
One week following the BLH is the Bundessiegerprüfung (BSP) held in Donaueschingen, October 2 – 4th, 2009. Here the best-of-the-best in Schutzhund will compete.
This would have been the perfect year to go. Can you imagine the thrill of attending all three events? Julie, thank you for tormenting us with the possibilities…
Who’s the dog in the BSZS logo? I always wonder what dog they use….does the last Sieger get to be on the next year’s logo?
Are you going to this Julie?
By the way what is the statis on how Allie is doing, and when she may be coming back?
@Al & Karen, I have been missing Allie so much lately. They are planning on going for her schutzhund title this month and her breed survey (Korung) next month. Thank you for asking about her.
The graphics are fabulous!
