These are my three favorite colors of geraniums that I have been babying in my greenhouse all winter. They are blossoming their little hearts out now right here in Michigan. Aren’t they pretty? I never seem able to size my photos properly so these photos have been cropped by this program, not me, but I thought you might enjoy a bouquet, Carole, since you send us so much beauty.

Absolutely gorgeous, Margot! Thank you so much!
Sorry. I meant to add that the last photo look like silk flowers. I know I can just reach right in there and feel the texture.
Margot you have been holding out on us! you have these right now, here in MI?
Yep, and that’s not all, either. I’ve been growing huge pots of rosemary, mints, dill, chives, curly and italian parsley, greens, and harvesting them all winter for delicious homegrown salads. This was the first time I did this and the experiment was so successful that this winter I am going to add cucumbers and tomatoes bred especially for greenhouses so they don’t need pollination. Cool, huh?
The flowers have blossomed all winter long and did a lovely job of lifting my spirits no matter what was happening outdoors.
I did not know you had a green house, is it new? Where are you hiding it?
You’ve seen it before. It is about 10×24 attached to the south side of the one story part of the house. I don’t always have plants in it though. Sometimes I put furniture in it and it becomes a sun room. In the summer I cover it entirely with shade cloth to lessen the intense heat it generates into the house.
Intense heat??? In Michigan?? I don’t think so! Now that your secret is out, we’d like to see more photos! You are too good of a photog not to be sharing with the family.
