Carole, now you’re speaking my language! Love, love , love these breathtakingly beautiful photos – they make my heart sing! Honeybees are one of my favorite creatures.
Now I am really puzzled. I thought apple trees had to go through a cold dormant period in order to produce buds. I thought they looked like apple blossoms but I was certain that apple trees didn’t grow in Florida. What kinds of apple trees do you grow?
Margot, I knew the apple blossoms would get me into trouble. I don’t know what variety of apple—it is just a small green apple. I will find out for you. I do know that the tree does not always produce fruit.

Thank you Margot & Julie. Margot, as soon as the orange blossoms start, I’ll see about capturing some bee shots for you.

Honeybees have become very rare here in my part of Michigan (Collapsing Colony Syndrome) so it is great to see that they are flourishing in your area.
Wow what vivid photos they are great. These photos brightened my day. Thanks
