This girl is definitely fulfilling her promise! Just beautiful! I think it’s funny that both you and Lies posted about toys in trees. Did you have exuberant, but poor aim, too? Or did Kayla throw the ball into the tree herself?

Kimberly has given Kayla the name of Lovely One. I would describe her more as Wild One. She threw the ball into the tree herself!

How about the lovely wild one then?
Chief used to have one of those toys only with an even bigger knot, he would get so crazy with it flinging it around we became fearful that if he let it go it would break the TV screen or possibly the window. So – he still has it but it stays in the crate. She looks great! I’ll bet it only took her about one minute to figure out how to get the toy!

“Exuberant, but poor” yes that’s exactly it! And that was actually the second time I threw it in the tree. The first time it was about 12 feet up so I untangled it with a rake handle.

KAYLA SURE IS BEAUTIFUL! I’M GLAD I DON’T HAVE ANY TREES IN MY BACKYARD JUST CACTUSES.

I would not trust Kayla in a yard full of cactus—something very painful would happen to me!

Thank you, I just love her to death. Kayla is the first German dog that has owned me. Over 20 years ago, I had a female with Kirchental lines—she was also one of my very best dogs. I thank Julie every day for bringing me back to my roots.
