since I posted any pictures of Bailey, so in the spirit of the first day of March, I thought it would be nice to take out the new camera and work a little. Brittany helped as well since she is almost done being grounded….lol….don’t wanna jinx her so here come the pictures.
Inside posting…ummm…stacking. I took the best of the lot (IMHO) for you to tell me what I’m doing right and wrong. Not using her normal show collar or leash…please excuse.
Outside pictures with distractions….
Posting a little in this one, right leg too far back?? Angulation…waz that? Too cold….back inside.
Headshot….don’t eat the new camera…or photographer!
A little kissing test…will she bite me or bust my lip again…..tempting….WHEW! No bloodshed.
One good thing about having such a small apartment is doing the ob. off leash…she can’t GO anywhere….Brittany building her relationship with Bailey through training….
Down stay with me distracting….this is very difficult!
Break! Me and my new girlie cuz…..
Two more months until we have more room to roam…..YIPEEEEEEE!!!! Brittany will no longer be grounded as of the 8th of March. Let the countdowns begin….
She looks awesome!
FWIW, I took Carole’s advice and bought two cheap mirrors at Meijer ($8 each). They are the long skinny kind you put on the back of a door. Except I hung mine horizontally one on top to the other, starting about 6 inches off the ground. Now I can practice stacking about 6 feet away. I tried once already and it makes SO much difference!! I get the stack right faster, so I’m not getting frustrated and Nikon isn’t getting so bored. Now that I can see the stack and am not wasting time placing his feet over and over, I have more time to practice where I am in relation to the dog (currently experimenting with kneeling vs. standing, or stepping out in front).
Good for you, Lies!
It looks like Brittany is doing a wonderful job with her. 🙂 How big is Bailey getting?
Bailey looks so nice. FYI…Liese, Kelly, and Becky I am seriously considering attendin the Classic. You three really presented some good arguments Friday night – that and the fact I need to get another show outfit 🙂 If I do this I’ll be bringing Ali-Cat only. Sorry Britt, no Tori Ann. If I get there early do you want me to save space?
Yes, save space! I will be there Friday night as well to help save space. I wish I could go to Kentucky for the seminar, but it seems unwise for only 1 day of training and such a long drive. I don’t like long drives…..but we all really need the ring training class….I’m torn…..I really wish we had someone who was going to do a class closer as I don’t like the idea of attending unprepared.
I’m still undecided too. Well, I already paid over $100 for the UKC entries so if I couldn’t get that back then there’s no way. I don’t even know how to get it back since I paid online already.
So what seminar are you missing in KY?
It is a ring training seminar to get us ready for the Sieger. I think I’m the only one that has not been to one so I could really use the experience. It is the one Julie blogged at the Cedar Hill facility in KY. Keep reading the blog and you will see it.
