Lessons taught to Rudi:
May I join you?
No! Buzz off kid!
Are you sure? I won’t take up much room.
That did it! Now I’m gonna bite your butt!
Lesson taught to Carole: 2 wet dogs + dirt = 2 very muddy dogs in house!
When I saw Rudi rolling in the dirt, I came to my senses! See his feet? Well the right side of him looked just like that!
Yep! Rudi is most definitely an Alta-Tollhaus dog!
Happy New Year, Carole,
Rudi is a very handsome pup and Kayla is definitely fulfilling her promise.
I am enjoying these Rudi/Kayla stories but I think Kayla is enjoying Rudi’s company so much that she will sink into a terminal depression when he goes home. I hope you have placed an order with Julie for a permanent new best friend for Kayla.
The weather looks gorgeous down there – how much do you charge for a pooch accompanied by its human for 2 weeks of sunny boot camp?!
I am loving all of your Camp Kayla pictures. They crack me up! Schumi would definately be jealous if knew all the fun they were having! I have to admit I am very jealous of your weather. My road has been so icy I haven’t been able to walk Schumi in days!
Happy New Year Margot! I have missed you on the blog!
I’ve seriously thought about a permanent best friend for Kayla. My American GSDs cannot keep up with her—they beg for mercy! The only suitable match for Kayla would be The Onion. Kayla and The Onion in the same home? As Julie would say, OIY!
As for two weeks of sunny boot camp for a pooch accompanined by its human: not one dime! Let me know when to pick you up at the airport.
Becky, you & Schumi can hop on the plane with Margot! Perfect Man may come along!
Love the pool photos, Kayla rocks! Rudi may not want to come home…probably doesn’t even miss us. Thanks again for posting…I’ll call in a day or so. Yes, it’s killing me. Julie H 🙂
PS Rudi ate his pool!!!
Carole – you seem to be making up for lost time with all the Kayla pix- weren’t you recently chided by someone for too much talk not enough photos? Whatever the motivation, I am always happy to see pix of the lovely Kayla! She has changed so much. Did you recently refer to her as the beast? So you have a beast and a terror? What next?
Since you offered, I will send Chief down there pronto – I guarantee he will run his “sister” ragged. He lives to play!! Just keep him out of the mud!
Kimberly—yes, I was most definitely chided by someone for talking too much and not enough pix. Since then, that “someone” has not said one word about the Kayla shots, even though she was very demanding!
I’ve finally moved out of the stone ages and have gone to DSL. Now I can post my own pix!
Kayla is the best dog I’ve ever owned! She certainly has a beastly side, but she can also be very sweet. My terror on the other hand is ALWAYS a terror.
Kayla said that if Chief loves to play—then bring it on! She’s ready! But let’s wait until she is out of heat!!!
Julie H.—stop torturing yourself. Call whenever you want!
A particular someone has not been on the blog since she has been reprimanded and restricted from blogging until her “superior” can clear all posts. But she has seen the pictures…and loves them….Carole, you may have been elevated from the rank of “slacker” to “pic maniac”. Some people just can’t be pleased…..I say bring it on! Give Julie and Lies some competition! Congrats on getting DSL and welcome to 2009 Carole!
Geez! That kid is hard to please! 🙂
Kelly, I had a feeling that was the case of why I haven’t heard from my tormentor! Come on…let her back on the blog!
Brittany—I want to see pix of you setting up Bailey.
