This is what happens when you can’t find your glasses, your arms are only so long and you just can’t read those little words.  I set my camera on monochrome without even knowing it….   Funny (Faye) only 3.5 weeks after having her litter by c-section.

Julie—if you weren’t over 100 and you weren’t such a good photog, I’d fire you! Gorgeous shots!!

Kayla would be so jealous if she saw all of her family playing in the snow!

Funny looks fantastic. I still cannot believe that the Onion has grown so much. Time flys by so quickly.

Same thing for Bailey—what happened to that little pup?

My favorite of all—Maika! Not only does she have “the Kayla grin”, but she also has that little side look going on. Perfect photo Julie—please send in hi-res, so I can use it. Oh yeah…and add a little color to it! (just kidding!)

Next time though, find your darned glasses!

Kayla would not be jealous because she does not miss us one bit.

I still cannot believe that the Onion has grown so much

Onion is still biting feet though.

Next time though, find your darned glasses

I bought her more today.

P.S. Send more pics of Kayla you slacker.

Brittany, I can tell that up to this point you’ve been a very sweet person. However, I now find the bad influences of Julie slipping in. 🙂

Carole, I should be fired over this one, thank God it was a mistake on my own pictures.

Brittany sweet? HA!!!

Brittany brought me 4 more reading classes so I am set for about a week.

Yes, it would have been pretty funny if Working Males had been shot in monochrome!

I really do want the photo of Maika though.

HAHA!!!

I would never make a mistake like that.

See Julie this is why it pays to be like me and never use the dials and buttons on the camera. There’s something to be said for shooting on AUTO….maybe……

I would never make a mistake like that.

I thought you were going to say because you constantly check your screen. I have my screen turned off, saves batteries, and it gives the camera slightly more speed. I suppose since I am not shooting any high action shots I could turn it back on and look at it once in a while—then I would have caught the monochrome setting—even though the close-up vision is gone, I can still see colors.

Also by not checking my screen constantly I can still enjoy that anticipation I use to have when picking up my developed prints.

I rarely use my DSLR completely on automatic settings. It comes from cutting my teeth on a SLR with absolutely no automatic settings.

“I rarely use my DSLR completely on automatic settings. It comes from cutting my teeth on a SLR with absolutely no automatic settings.”

My original SLR had absolutely no automatic settings either. And yes—I was good at using it. But then I moved into the 21st century and discovered automatic settings!

I would tell you to try it sometime, but I know how difficult it is for someone your age to change their ways. Besides—you are so darn good, why mess with something that isn’t broken? Well—good when you are wearing your glasses! 🙂
