Many of these pictures Craig took and several were taken by others…but it shows a spark of humor in an otherwise boring deployment….
Craig and the Afghani Nationals he delivers every night…..
…he says that getting them to get into the truck is like herding cats…..you just can’t do it as they want to do anything but get into the truck….lol….
I think all checkpoints should have this sign….
Wishful thinking???
Out brothers to the north….ahhhh….the Canadians know how to have fun….
our world has gotten smaller….
nothing like a little sandstorm flying….
I hope this is not the pilot….my taxpayer dollars at work….
the Air Force also knows how to have fun…..
Hope you enjoyed!
Kelly, I hope that while Craig is there, he has plenty of “boring” days like this.
That one photo reminded me of Rocky The Flying Squirrel!
Kelly – I thought you said life in the Army was not fun 🙂 Here’s hoping that the rest of Craig’s time is spent like this.
Thank you Craig and Kelly for posting your pictures. Thank you to all of you, Brittany included, for your service to our country. I know that Craig is the one in active duty, but all of you are making your own sacrifices being separated from him.
I am glad to see that they are maintaining a good sense of humor.
If that “car bombers exit here” sign works then we should have it installed worldwide! 🙂
hmmmm more people that do not know how to “que”
The “Iraqi photo booth” is very clever.
Is that for real? The wind is blowing that strong?
Amy,
I wish the Army had fun moments like this more often….but there are too many political issues at work in the Army and that is no fun.
Julie,
Yes, the wind can blow that much! They have to go inside when it happens and they get a warning that it is coming so normally they are not outside. Notice that they are wearing gas masks??
