Julie came to visit me today and casually handed me a magazine to look at. Imagine my surprise when I saw it was my Vida on the cover! I was momentarily speechless – what a thrill! This is the second time Vida has been in a national publication (his photo appeared in BARK magazine last year) but the first time he has been on the cover of a magazine. Wow! What a thrill! I know I am repeating myself but I don’t care because it is so cool. Thanks, Julie and thanks, Carole for this very great honor. Vida, of course, takes it all in stride, but I know he is secretly very pleased, too.
I also had the great pleasure of meeting puppy owners Lies and Nikon, Brittany, her mom Kelly and Bailey, Enya, Bronson and no name yet puppy girl. Wonderful people and fabulous puppies. Everyone of the pups is outstanding in looks but it was their uniform strong, stable, outgoing personalities that totally captivated me. Another big WOW! Julie’s pups are simply the best!
Congratulations to the photographer Margot Foster!
Schumi also has his picture in this issue.
Margot, as soon as I can get a good connection, we’ll replace the cover shot of Vida with a good jpeg file.
Thanks to photogs like you & Joe, you make my job much easier. Congrats to both!
YIKES!!!
How could I have not mentioned that Charlene & O’Stara are in this issue?!! (along with pix of Hurri!)
Charlene wrote our wonderful feature article, Introduction to Agility…and O’Stara is one of my favs. Charlene, thank you so much! We hope to hear from you often.
Julie will have a copy of the magaizine for you soon…I promise.
The article that Charlene wrote is the best article I have ever read on agility. There are so many different agility organizations and then add to that all the different agility obstacles; Charlene broke agility venues and obstacles down so it all seems perfectly clear. A superbly written article!
Um, like WOW all of you!!! I must have a copy of this magazine! I want to join … Julie will you have to sponsor me??? CONGRATULATIONS, Margot! Alta-Tollhaus rocks!
What a beautiful picture, but then he has never taken a bad one. To know him is to love him. He has got a wonderful spirit, a true ambassador for the breed. Congrats Margot and Julie!
Judy—Of course Julie will have to sponsor you!! Don’t worry, they might let you in since Julie has connections. LOLOL! I’ll get your address from Julie.
