This semester Vida is enjoying being in an agility class and an obedience class. He is easily the biggest dog in his agility class but in his obedience class he is a veritable giant amongst his fellow students. Imagine my surprise the first day when we walked in and saw that all of the other dogs in his class topped out at 5 to 10 lbs. each. We are now on week 3 and he has made friends with all the little ones as well as won over their owners. I guess I’m pretty proud of my “giant”!
What a great picture Margot. I know you are so proud of Vida and so am I!
Margot wanted the smallest puppy in the litter and that is what Vida was. He is now the biggest from that litter. It just proves the saying: the biggest can be the smallest and smallest can be the biggest.
And that holds true with all breeds! I’ve seen it time and again with my goldens. Good boy, Vida – yet another testament to this noble breed, and Julie’s dogs in particular, of course. I love the look on Vida and Simon’s faces :~)
Margot, Vida is a wonderful dog and a true credit to our breed! Excellent job with this photo.
