You don’t buy this wine for the label, but you should buy it for what is inside, full-bodied deliciousness! I LOVE this wine so much I had to share it.

A wine that I recently bought strictly for the label is “Monster Red.” I don’t generally do that but I was delighted to find the wine to be very tasty. It’s available at World Market.
Terri—without even looking, I knew that the first comment about Julie’s wine would be from YOU! Oh, sorry. Did I just call you a wino? Miss you!

Hello fellow foodies/ winoes (nothing wrong with that in my book). Where can we get a bottle of the House Wine? I will share one of my favorites that we accumulated while in Europe….Colli Euganei Fior d’Arancio. It’s like eating sunshine!!! Here is the site of the Villa where they make it and where we spent a lot of time partaking of the harvest. If you ever visit Northern Italy make sure you stop in and call me first so that I can place an order too! 😉
Hello – fellow wine lovers :~) Note this wine is made right here in Washington :~) There are many, many fine wineries here in Washington and Oregon – we are known for our Pinot Noirs, but I love many of the Chardonnays. Memorial weekend sports terrific tours – ya’all should come out here to the PNW! Another full bodied red wine is Grateful Red – don’t you love the pun? I would be happy to share some sites if anyone is interested.
Hello Judy??? Did I hear that there will be a wine & cheese party at your house? How many guest rooms do you have? You know we don’t drink & drive and with this group none will volunteer to be the designated driver.
Before FL, we lived in CA in the San Joaquin Valley…many good places around there. Preferred Chardonnay…until Terri came along and changed me with her wicked ways.
Hah! No one ever called me wicked before…I kinda like it! I am all for a wine and culinary retreat in Washinton…we could have a memorable memorial weekend.
I agree! I’ve had this wine and it’s delicious!

Please do share the names and links of your favorite wines! There are many oenophiles and wine-aficionado-wanna-be’s that will relish the info.
I think a trip to Northern Italy is in order….there are some good GSD kennels there I want to visit. 🙂
Thank you all for the wine suggestions!

And Julie, don’t you dare go to Italy without me!
Washington here we come! One of my longer-term goals has been to get Margot “off the farm” this might be one trip I could get her to take!
Italy…Terri, I wouldn’t dream of going without you! I mean com’on who would drive? Who would pick out the wine? Who would help me order the best food?
