Ha, ha, ha! Good girl, Kayla :~) It is fun to be the BIG dog! I like the title “I’m outta here” and it IS good movement :~) They bring a smile to my face and I’m sure yours, as well. Thanks for sharing, Julie. I’m thinking of you ~ j.
It sort of looks like Kayla is being rough and mean to the little pups but it is all in fun and no one ever gets hurt. What does not come through is how playful and lighthearted Kayla is with the puppies. For the most part—the puppies love it.

I think you can see in Kayla’s face how playful she is. I love that girl!
I love seeing Kayla interacting with the pups! Kayla doesn’t have a mean bone in her body…it’s good for her and the little ones. It wasn’t that long ago that I remember seeing the role reversed—with Allie giving Kayla “what for” when she was a little tyke.
Ha! Julie—it was only 2 issues ago that Kayla, the tiny tot, was on our front cover! She was about the same age, or younger than the pups she’s playing with now.
