All night long…..and nothing……only panting, digging, nesting, and panting. Finally at 7 am the first pup arrived, I got to see the handsome boy before I left for work. Tiffany is manning the whelping box with no sleep in over 30 hours. Tiffany I know saying thank you is not enough.
The count so far: 3 boys and 1 girl. Funny is not a fast whelper so this will be a long day. Pictures will follow, probably tomorrow at the soonest.
This is an email from Pat the owner & importer of Jimmy:
Hi Julie,
We have been thinking about you & Funny and have been checking you blog periodically…WOW she is a good size!!! We will keep our fingers crossed for an uneventful – smooth delivery and will be anxious to hear from you!
The Jimmy puppies we have so far are awesome. Great structure, drive, and temperament. They are very outgoing friendly puppies and it is sometimes fun to try and walk with puppies hanging on one’s legs!
Good luck with the whelp and we’ll talk to you later.
Pat
Hmmmmmmm…..great structure, drive, temperament, very outgoing-friendly puppies—–I do believe that is what we had in mind for this breeding! 🙂
Julie
Tiffany, I know your Mom certainly appreciates you stepping in—but we’ll have to think of something good for repayment! 🙂
What was that description? Great structure, drive, temperament, outgoing, friendly, no coats—hello, Julie? About those puppies…
Julie, Post photos and the end results of the litter!! Inquiring minds want to know! Congratulations! How nice of Tiffany to step up to the plate and be mid-wife!
