Ziva was entered in the Dog Obedience Training Club of Rochester Agility Trial in Webster, NY. the weekend of May 19th. This is our club trial so it was nice and close to home 🙂 It is getting more difficult for me to run, so I don’t know how many more trials we will be able to enter.
Ziva’s first class on Saturday was Novice Fast. I had forgotten she had 2 legs from last year, so at this trial we got to try our luck for that last leg! She Q’d with 1st place for her title! No video, but got her title in the mail 🙂
Ziva next class was Master JWW. She had a nice jumpers run and Q’d with 3 rd place. I was able to get a video of her run below.
Her next class was Master Standard, but I was not able to get a video of her run. In spite of my handling errors, she managed to Q for a double Q for the day!
On Sunday 5/20 her first class was Masters Standard. I accidentally pulled her out of the last weave pole and lost the Q 🙁
We also had to have a small discussion at at start about holding her start line stay before I released her.
Our second class of the day was Masters JWW. Ziva had a nice run and we Q’d with 3rd place. The course had several lines that looked straightforward, but were tricky and caught many dogs. There was a less than 25% Q rate on this course so I was very pleased we were able to negotiate it successfully.
She is such a good girl, accommodating me getting slower.
Congratulations Lisa! I admire your fortitude and ability to push through to carry on. Great job!!!
