The fluff monster and I are enjoying a day off. I’m working from home and he’s getting some time to do nothing while his paw pads recover from stepping on glass during one of our bike rides.
The little monster isn’t so little anymore. He’s gotten big and handsome and…
…fluffy. Extra extra fluffy. Especially now that he’s blowing out his coat. Every time we vacuum, it’s like we’ve killed a whole field of bunnies.
Fenris doesn’t think he’s gotten any bigger. In fact, as far as his puppy brain is concerned, he’s a lap dog.
From this angle, it looks like he fits just fine.
But in reality, it looks like this.
He makes it impossible to get anything done. 🙂
Oh he is just so beautiful and yes fluffy! I’m jealous, I want to be home cuddling with Digger, although he hasn’t taken to the furniture…yet.
Nancy
Nancy, I love your “yet”. Hahaha
It’s either you go down to the floor or he comes up on your lap. Either way, it’s allllll goooood. 😉
Terri
Terri if I had my way he’d be sleeping in bed with us and cuddling on the couch but Ron says no:( so I lay on the floor and hug him as long as he lets me.
DuKe will only stay in bed for a little while, but he sure does like sitting in the recliner with me. And, as you said Nancy, “as long as he lets me”. LOL Such brats! 😉
If I’m not in the chair…he isn’t interested…and he doesn’t try to get into Dads’ lap when he’s in his chair. Maybe ’cause Dad isn’t as fluffy as I am…..he’s more of the “fun size”. LOL
Fenris only wants to be on the furniture if we’re on it. I have pictures of a smaller version of him trying to scramble up onto the couch. Now, he bounds onto it in a single leap.
Oh I am sure Digger would do the same, with very little encouragement he’d be up there in a second. Last night he dropped his trachea on the couch and turned to look at us like he wanted to say “hey can I get up there too”. He so darn cute and very hard to resist.
I hope Fenris heals quickly.
I had to quickly do a double take when I read “he dropped his trachea on the couch”. AAAHHHH
Oh. come on now! In all fairness to Fenris, you are just a puny thing and need a bigger lap. 🙂
Presi, Fenris looks terrific! I loved that he kept his beautiful dark mask. Tell him to rest up those fat feet.
*LIKE*
I’ll have you know I am NOT puny… I’m fun sized.
Those silly ‘fat feet’ have stayed on soft rubber crate mats for some time now. They’re healing up nicely. 🙂

Oh my gosh, Presi, he is SO BEAUTIFUL! Love that he’s kept his dark mask. I am really just in love with this fluff monster teddy bear hybrid.

Poor baby…kiss those little tootsies and make ’em all better.
Presi, your FluffyWuffy is soooo fluffy wuffy! 🙂
Isn’t working from home the best?! I love it!
DuKes’ Ma, Terri
It’d be great if I actually managed to get some work done! Instead I have a big fluffy butt on my lap that only wants to cuddle.
*sigh* I guess work will have to wait. We’re just going to have naptime on the couch. Maybe watch a movie or something 😛
Priorities Presi FunSized Priorities!
Glad you have them straight……Movie, nap, and always with your favorite puppy! Enjoy
He has Allie’s face.
He is gorgeous. Such warm adoring eyes.
The Fluff Monster is the cutest. He LOOOOVES sitting with his momma it looks like. Give Fenris some xtra hugs from me and sloppy kisses from cousins Libby and Ziva
Julie called him a hybrid. He is gorgeous. I thought he was plush coat (vs. long coat). Am I wrong? how much does he weight and how old is he. Thanks. Nancy in Cambridge, MA
I don’t recall Fenris ever being called a hybrid. Although I do wonder if he’s a GSD/teddy bear cross…
He has long stock hair with an undercoat.
I’m not sure if that’s technically a plush or not since I know there are long coats that exist *without* an undercoat.
He’s about 64lbs right now at 13 months and a few days. 🙂
Presi, you got it all AND a bag of chips with Fenris…..”He has long stock hair WITH an undercoat”. !! 🙂
What kind of vaccuum do you own? LOL
DuKes’ Ma, Terri
Two Dysons: A stand up and a canister vac. Both work with the grooming attachment (http://www.dyson.com/vacuums/groom.aspx).
They come in handy now that it’s shedding season (or rather coat-blowing season). The dog hair carpets are growing into jungles, which is really saying something considering the whole house has hardwood floors.
So good to see the Fur Monster!! He looks great, and he most certainly is a GSD Teddy Bear. LOL, great pics Presi…hope the kid’s paws are feeling better soon. Give him a giant bear hug from his Florida Aunties:)
Fenris is Adorable! Funny how things look when viewed from different angles. Recently, I’ve been letting Kai stay on the couch when he jumps up there, although I try to put a quilt under him. I want a snuggler. First the baby needle teeth biting, then the bigger teeth biting, I keep waiting for the cuddler and he is starting to emerge. He’s so cute on the couch I don’t have the heart to kick him off. Of course his heavy leg bone digs into my ankle or shin or something and it’s bone on bone and hurts like crap so I have to move him. Haha.
