Yes I remember those days all too well. When I had Shilo, I had two intact males and it was no fun. However, they were mature enough to accept a knock it off and leave her alone other than for those two days were she was very receptive.
She is most likely in heat. Sister Libby came in heat last week. In the a.m we have had a few strange boys camped out on our patio the last few days wanting Libby to come out and play. Fortunately they had ID’s on them so we called to have their parents take them home. The fence did not stop them from getting in the yard. Have fun.
One of the young males at training Monday night was all excited and I was thinking it is near. Having dealt with this before helps you to notice the subtle changes in play. I found it interesting that we never had issues with strange males showing up when Shilo would go nto season but then I also had two intact males that were very busy covering up her scent and I always wondered if that had anything to do with it. Not easy on a lawn though.
Sammy you are a hunk!
Sammy very handsome. Have fun keeping them apart…trust me it was a long ride back from VA with Sabree in heat.
