Footwork Ladder with Side Rails

The plans for this ladder were found on Instant Agility – very cool site!

I went out this morning to take some closeups of the ladder:

Fenris said, “Now wait a minute—that is very boring!” “Let me show them how it’s done.” So without any cues from me, he walked through the ladder.

“And if this is for hind-end awareness, then they need to see my behind.” And he turned around and walked through the other way.

“While we’re at it, you should show them some other stuff too.” And off he went…

There was no point in arguing with him. He is a very smart boy and lord knows he has his own opinion. Just ask Susan and Barb!

_CS04472

“Hey! This plank is FLAWED!”

_CS04474

“Carole said that I’m not supposed to do the teeter on my own. Big deal—blah, blah, blah!”

He did all of this without any prompting from me. I only went out to take a couple pix of the ladder. Fenris had other ideas. Thank you, Fenris.

This is the base for the mini-teeter.

The Tunnel

The Party Girls take a crack at the tunnel. Everything was going just fine. Then someone decides to add some speed to the process. In order to have speed we MUST HAVE BALL. I am lucky that I’m still alive and not bowled over by the tornado that flew past me.

Winston took the more civilized approach:

Kai says that he doesn’t understand why Winston thinks we need a taller tunnel.

Good Trainers and Bad Trainers

There are good trainers and bad trainers. Good trainers take your puppy and practice things like plotz.

_CS04356
_CS04358

And then there are BAD trainers, who take your puppy and teach it things like…

_CS04365

“Lets dunk in the water bucket!” or…

_CS04379

“Let’s take a mud bath!”

_CS04389

Bad, BAD trainer!!!

Actually, Fenris had a great time with Auntie Barb! I dunked his legs in the bucket to get some of the mud off. Believe it or not when he dried he was a clean as a whistle. Exactly how clean are whistles? ;)
