Agility Brags and Health Brags

Charlene (Veri V-litter) almost could do no wrong at the agility trail this past weekend double Q’ing with Tank her Harrier and Artemis her Aussie both Friday and Saturday.

Kim with “Bogey” MACH Alta-Tollhaus In The Rough XF also did very well and now have 18 double Q’s toward their second MACH (you need 20 double Q’s).

Laura and “Lance” Alta-Tollhaus Par Four BN RE TDX MX MXJ NAP NJP OF also double Q’d at the same trial.

My big health brag is I did the  DM (Degenerative Myelopathy) tests on every single one of my dogs.  Every single one came back Clear/Clear which means they will not develop DM nor do they carry the genes for it.  I was very pleased to say the least!

North Carolina Agility

Judd “vacationed” down in North Carolina with a couple of his buddies: Bogey (MACH Alta-Tollhaus In The Rough XF) and Cash (Alta-Tollhaus Go For The Green OA OAJ). The three of them played agility and had a great time doing a lot of winning.

Ok, I will try to get this straight but this was 4 days of AKC agility trials, so I may have this a little messed up. For the non-agility people AKC has a newer class called “T2B” which stands for “Time to Beat.” Q means they qualified, and “clean” means no errors.

Some of the highlights are:

First day: Bogey and Cash had clean T2B Q runs. Jumpers,  Bogey was 3rd and Cash 2nd.  This is a very large trial so both did very well!

Second day: Cash-Man took 1st in T2B. Bogey doubled Q’d and Cash beat his bro by .05 secs in Jumpers! Judd says: “Just a blast in and out of the ring. Huge trial, people from all over.”

Third day: Not to be outdone by newbie Cash. The Bogey Man took 1st in T2B today. Cash Q’d. There were the only two to Q in T2B! Tough course obviously!  Good handling on Judd’s part!

No details on the fourth day of the trial. I will update when I get the skinny.

Cash is owned by Judd, Bogey is owned by Kim LaSerra both dogs were run/handled by Judd. WAY TO GO JUDD, KIM, BOGEY, and CASH!
