Baby Snappers

We have a pile of gravel that we use to fill holes in driveway. About a foot down look what was found. There is no denying these are Snapping Turtles, their distinctive shape is clear.

Wild Turkey Rescue

Yesterday I got a call from a concerned citizen regarding a baby wild turkey that was stuck under her front porch. When I arrived the mother turkey was strutting around the house ”clucking” for her baby. The baby turkey had somehow managed to get caught behind some lattice work under the front porch. I was able to pry the lattice work loose and rescue the youngster. It was happily reunited it with its mother.
