Alta-Tollhaus Gavin earned another VP rating this past Sunday at the Deutscher Schaferhunde Club, San Diego, California. Under SV Judge Rüdiger Mai Gavin earned a VP2 in the 6-9 month class, at just 6 months and 4 days! Congratulations Lorie on your continued success with Gavin! As per usual no pictures. (: All the photographers apparently live in Michigan.
We have show brags, health brag, schutzhund, and agility brags to share!
Lorie and Gavin have a show brag. At Gavin’s second show ever, he placed 3rd in a large Male Baby Puppy class at the North American Sieger Show in California! Gavin was very much the crowd favorite.
Way to go Lorie, congratulations!!!
Becky and Joe’s Schumi received A-stamp Normal (A1) on both his hips and elbows by the German SV. This is the highest rating given by the A-stamp evaluation. Congratulations!!!
Kim LaSerra and Bogey have earned yet another agility title, earning the AKC Open-Fast Agility title. Congratulations Kim!!!
Worth mentioning again is Carole’s Kayla earning a schutzhund 2 at the tender age of 21 months!
Jeff & Pat’s Alta-Tollhaus Annie earned another SG1 show rating at the UScA conformation show in Indy.
This is a picture of Kayla right before she left for Germany—in heat, no coat and tail wagging. Guess we can’t fault her for the tail wagging! We just received news that Kayla received her SchH2 title Sunday morning! Margret has put titles on Kayla in record time. They are both Rock Stars! Thank you, Margret, for all of your hard work and dedication to our girl!
Nikky-Noodle, aka Nikon, aka Alta-Tollhaus Bono earns his Canine-Good-Citizen, CGC! Lie’s worked really hard on this. Nikon was able to do everything to pass the test except for the 3-minute out-of-sight exercise. So that is what they worked on and it was successful!
Chris and Rita show Roman again last weekend in Pennsylvania and he earns another VP3! His sister Alta-Tollhaus Fenja owned by Gayle Kirkwood and myself, first time shown earns a VP1! Fenja was trained and doubled by Gayle…I think the operative words in detailing Fenja’s success are *trained* and *Gayle*.
Laura Green competed at the GSDCA National Speciality show in Ohio with two of her GSD. The first one Alta-Tollhaus Par Four “Lance” already has more titles then I can keep track of, earned two more AKC titles. AKC agility title NF – Novice Fast title and AKC Rally Obedience title RN Rally Novice.
Laura’s dog Jeannie, who is 15 or 20 years old (ok I don’t know but she is old) was highest-scoring-rescue in Rally-obedience.
Kim LaSerra’s, Alta-Tollhaus In the Rough, “Bogey” recently earned his AKC AX and NF Agility titles. Both with 1st place legs. Bogey is litter brother to Laura Green’s Lance.
Kari Selinger’s Alta-Tollhaus Perfect Storm, appears in the 2010 GSD calender as the November pin-up. “Huri” also earned earned her NF – Novice Fast AKC Agility title.
Alta-Tollhaus dogs are known for their temperament, beauty, and extreme intelligence. If you own an Alta-Tollhaus dog, you are also aware of another trait—they are known for their DRAMA.
Yesterday I told Garbo that she was a Cover Girl. Here is her response:
Congratulations, Julie. Thank you for breeding such great dogs!
