Success Comes in Lilac

Ilea (Ricco vom Zenteiche – Vallie vom Kirschental) Ears at attention!

My feet are all washed and ready to play.

Honest, the lilac just got stuck on me.

I think I am in trouble.

A short nap in the sun and then I can start again.

Ilea the Retriever

April 8th, 2010 3 comments

Every good shepherd also needs to be a retriever because Dad may try and throw away one of my toys.
Ilea retrieving her red rubber ball.

Rushing back to Dad to put it in his left hand. Note both ears up at this time.

Sometimes I drop the ball but always pick it up until I drop it in his hand!
I got it in his hand but the photographer messed up a picture perfect retrieve.

Ilea In Front Yard

March 16th, 2010 8 comments
I am 30 pounds today and I am a perfect hostess.  I played with the little boy whose sister and Mom helped bring me to my home.  Not once did I jump on anyone or bite their hands or shoes.  They brought their Golden dog along and we played together and then laid down in the sun to rest.  I watched them leave but I will see them again soon.  MY HUMAN DAD SAYS I HAVE THE BEST PERSONALITY OF ANY PUP IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!  Thank you Julie.

Getting some pets from Colleen.
Resting in the sun with Gracie with my stick.
Watching them leave but they will be back.

I Found Dirt!

March 9th, 2010 3 comments

Ilea got her second round of shots yesterday and weighed 25 pounds. My vet has a vet tech named Ilea. My human Dad says I’m growing too fast. A few more pictures for the record. Keith

See, Dad, I am not too big to make it through the fence.

Lisa is taking me for an adventure. I’m so happy I will do a one-leg stand.

What is this wet, brown stuff? Is it really called dirt?

Gee, it is fun digging in wet, dirt and look at the root I found!
