Fun On the Water
Last weekend, we took Isa out in our fishing boat–she likes her neoprene life vest.

And this was her first ride in Sean’s kayak. Interestingly, this was taken about 5 minutes before she bailed in a swampy area, apparently because she lost sight of our boat. (Fortunately, we still had a lead attached to her!) It was one of those situations where there was chaos for a minute or so, but in a funny kind of way.

Here’s Garth. He really does love to fish. At this point in the day, we were convinced that the fish were indeed biting. Each other.

An ever-watchful German Shepherd Dog.

From Isa’s People
All is well here.
Isa weighs in at 36#, will have her vaccines on 4/26. We’ve gone to the beach several times and she adores it. Has been in the frigid water of Lake Michigan, which is 5 minutes from us, up to her tummy. Then, of course, the beach is the ultimate digging area, shse adds a ton of sand to her soaking wet body.
Tonight is class #7 of 8 at Sam Jones’ puppy class, which has been a lot of fun. She is one of the calmer dogs in the class (4 damn crazy Labs in there–oops, that slipped . . . as well as a Duck Toller, a Portie, and a couple of mixed breeds.)
