Da Boys spring staycation

Ekko

o

Yesterday, on my normal evening walk with da boys, I noticed a couple of the spruce trees had grown icicles.  It was worthy of a trip back to the house to get the camera.  The icicles were only on a few trees that missed the wind, and caught the heat from the sun, just right.

Sun setting behind da boys

The fresh snow from the last storm had da boys all excited, thinking that winter had come again, so here’s a couple photos of them, plus one I liked just as the sun was ready to set behind them.

Michele has been trying to stop looking at this blog because all the puppies are just too darn cute!

Da Boys annual snow photos

December 17th, 2010 4 comments

Since it seems like it’s the thing to do, here are our annual

“da boys” snow pics.

It’s busy here in the

winter – we’ve got to check the bird house to make sure the

chipmunk that was hiding there last summer was gone,

there was garland to make, and kindling to gather. We have to chase the bunnies

at night, and track the deer that sneak through the woods.  We don’t know

what Michele and Garth would do without us.

GSD or German Water Dog?

November 8th, 2009 8 comments

I had Ekko out at Lake Michigan, Good Harbor Bay, a few weeks ago, so before I start to see snow in my photos, I thought I’d post a couple of a morning at the beach.

I wish I could paddle my canoe as fast.firstblogphoto

Some of my firewood.

If you stare at something hard enough, somebody will throw it.
