Long-Dangerous Tails

Schumi and I got our SchH1 last weekend at the same trial Lies and Nikon went to.  We got High Tracking for the weekend and he was Pronounced in protection.  I am so happy!  If he’s ready I hope to do his 2 in the spring.  His tracking was awesome, he hit all his turns and his articles, and his obedience went well.  I actually expected to do the best in the protection phase but Schumi was such a jerk!  I love him to pieces, but he needs to work on respecting the helper more.    So that will be our goal before we trial again.  Schumi has always been powerful in his bitework – he takes nice, deep bites, and he strikes hard so once we clean him up our protection phase will be something to really be proud of!

Saturday was Schumi’s third birthday.  I can’t believe it’s been three years!  He still acts like such a happy puppy continues to be his awesome self.  I try not to but he is completely spoiled and definitely rules the household.
