My Bond with Sabree
My bond with Sabree started when she was little, and there are just too many things to list that she has done through me being down with surgery to her watching out for the kids and misc. other things. Suffice it to say that she and I have a very tight bond, she has earned and gained my respect and confidence over and over again. I wasn’t sure I should share this so I sent it to Julie, and she said I should share it, so here it is.
The other night while I was sleeping, I remember waking up and choking, but I coughed a few times and went back to sleep. I think it happened the next night also.
The other morning, Sabree stood up to the side of the bed and scratched my arm which is not like her. She gets on the bed and sleeps but she scratched me and drew blood which I didn’t realize til I got up later. When I finally woke up Sabree was laying so close her nose was almost in my ear. Also not like her, she usually lays at the end of the bed. Once I got up and got my wits about me I called Al and told him about her scratching me, and laying so close to me. That’s when he told me I had quit breathing the other night and had woke up choking, I just thought I choked, no big deal. He thinks that Sabree sensed something was wrong, like maybe I quit breathing again and she woke me up. She just continues to amaze me and our bond just keeps growing even more, she is a very special girl and you have heard me say before that Sabree saved my life…well maybe in more ways than one now.

Splish Splash
Sabree also has the water gene. She likes to put her face down in the water and blow bubbles. Julie says she takes after her mom. Allie also likes to do that.
- Grandma needs a bigger pool.
- Hey, Kapone watch this!
- Splish Splash I was taking a bath!
- Ahhh that was fun!
Congrats to Julie and her girls!
This weekend was a great weekend.
Maika got her breed survey out of the way. She did very well.
Kira achieved her Lifetime Breed Survey.
Anna did a great job in her conformation. Grandma Funny was able to go out and do a little herding training with sheep. You could tell right away that she remembered what this was all about! After all that is Funny’s forte.
Julie looked calm, confident, assertive and like she has done this 100 times. Way to go Ladies!
