Meet “Legend”

For Christmas I got myself a puppy, and not just any puppy but one of Nikon’s! I hope it’s OK I share him as an Alta-Tollhaus extension. He would not be here if not for how wonderful Nikon has been and how impressed the breeder and her friends (who own the pick female) were with him. “Legend” has been wonderful so far and it’s so funny to see him with Nikon. Nikon was the first dog I raised from a puppy, so it’s really neat that not only is Legend his son, but will benefit from everything I learned raising Nikon. I named him Legend in honor of Nikon (and also I love the GSD in the movie “I Am Legend”). The breeder actually sent me two males and I chose the sable. The black and tan male is most likely going to a friend of mine who is familiar with Nikon and also into dog sports. Other friends in town own the pick female (another sable, the female version of Legend). It was a large litter to choose from and so far Legend ticks all the boxes I asked of the breeder. I’m thrilled I’ll have one maybe two siblings nearby so I can watch them grow.
