I would Looooove to purchase this for Mr. Duke. Right now he is eating Royal Canin GSD puppy straight up and Bravo, tripe, HK mixed.
It would be so sweet if there was delivery closer to me. I’ll have to check on this later….I’m supposed to be working now. And Duke is napping, easily the time for productivity!
Terri and zzzzzzzzzzzDuke
Blue Ridge Beef is an EXCELLENT product. I use a few different varieties of it, including the tripe.
10 bucks for home delivery? Hello? I’d like a few cases delivered to me, please! 😉
Carole,
What types do you use?
What about the puppy mix? It has beef, chicken, tripe, heart, liver, and bone. I really wouldn’t need to add anything else, maybe some veggies.
Terri
Terri, my pups get the Puppy Mix and then once or twice a week I will give the Green Tripe Mix. It is also good for dogs who are very active.
Adults get Pure Beef, Natural Mix, Puppy Mix, Gnd Chicken w Bone, (although, she who will steal a pound of ground turkey from the counter isn’t too thrilled with the chicken) and at least once or twice a week the Green Tripe Mix.
Ninja Kitty has learned to bark like a dog so that she gets her share of it too. The only time she will “skip it” is when I’m feeding tripe.
The original owner lives not too far from me. He has a distribution center here and his two sons run the plants they have in GA and NC. It is a family-owned business who take pride in producing a quality product.
Thanks for the info Carole. I did email the person from Julies’ original post. Hopefully I’ll hear something.
Geez, I should become a marketing person for this stuff. I should also add that those of you in MI that can take advantage of Mr. Delivery Guy, go ahead and do so. He too is very reliable!
What is nice about Blue Ridge Beef is that it comes in 2lb & 5lb chubs. Just put what you need in the fridge to thaw, then cut the wrapper and dump it out. It is not messy! If I’m not using the full 2 pounds for a pup feeding, I can easily cut what I want and then dump the rest in a container and store in the fridge for the next meal.
Not messy??? The first time I used this product I put it in the fridge to thaw and did not notice that the ends were not sealed. I ended up with a puddle of blood in the fridge. gross. I learned to use secondary containment all the time.
LOL—since whatever I’m thawing is always placed on a plate or in a bowl, I didn’t think to mention that.
I love Blue Ridge Beef. I use the Natural Mix and also the venision. I have a plastic tub that the rolls fit in nicely.
