Another one with a pool! My deprived dogs may be turning up at your gate any day.
Our pond is full of snakes, gi-normous snapping turtles, not to mention what kind microscopic cocktails that are thriving there. A garden hose is perfect.
Ouch! I had not thought about snakes taking to the water. And with the heat there are probably more nasty types moving farther north than usual. Our little fake-lake in the park has disgusting pond scum this summer (has not been there in previous years), and we are not even going to talk about the goose crud on the sidewalks. But I did see the heron early the other morning, standing in the area where the water was clear.

Julie, your dogs have the pond! Mine are stuck with the garden hose . . . .

Another handsome pup!
psst—tell Lou & Shelly that my bags are packed and I’ll see them shortly. 😉
A babe magnet lounging by the pool already, he is just gorgeous. 🙂 JH
