  1. Happy Birthday Chief, Bauer, Ben and the other Hoss – Zucca boys.

  2. Happy Birthday Chief!!!! You seem like such a happy boy!

  3. Hi Kimberly – Happy Birthday to Chief from his brother Ben. You definitely can see the “family resemblence” in the pictures. They have such big, pretty heads! Someday I will have to get some pictures of Ben posted –

Ben is still a little jealous that he doesn’t have a pretty german shepherd playmate like Gia – but he will just have to make due with his little corgi friend Marco.

    Your dogs look great!

Hi Karen and Happy Birthday to Ben as well. How is he doing? I would love to see pix. Yep, Chief has a great looking head (in my humble opinion). He is a really good boy and yes overall happy and really happy to have a sister of any kind. lol Gia keeps him busy for sure. She never leaves him alone and has figured out how to open his gate and get him loose.
Funny but chaotic! They are both super smart and we have our hands full w/them!
Chief hopefully has topped out @ 91 lbs. Didn’t you say Ben was like 110? Can you believe they are 3 years old already? Times sure flies!

  5. Happy Birthday to the Hoss/Zucca kids!

  6. It is very hard to believe that Ben is 3 years old already! Sometimes he still acts like a puppy – but most of the time now he seems so grown up. And he certainly looks like an adult dog now. He is a very handsome and very nice dog. He’s actually a pretty laid back boy – and super friendly. He loves, loves, loves people. And he likes other dogs a lot too – male, female, big, little – doesn’t matter to him. (cats are a whole other story). He’s very smart and a great buddy. Loves to go in the car – anyplace – he doesn’t care. And he is a “with you” dog – if I am upstairs – he’s there, out weeding the garden – he’s out there laying down by me, planting flowers – he’s right there helping me.

Hopefully Chief is doing great – and is healthy and happy and a good boy.

Karen-what a good mom you are! Ever since he was little he has been described as a real sweet boy, so I’m not surprised at all he has turned out so good-friendly and such as you described. You know, for being such a handful (as a puppy), Chief actually is pretty sweet also. He still has his independent ways though-don’t think that will ever change. Bad w/recall. Doesn’t want to come in if he’s not ready. He HATES bicycle riders-wants to chase ‘em. He is VERY protective of his house and yard. He loves car rides too. If you say “want to go bye-bye” he cocks his head and gets all excited. He knows! He charms all the ladies at the groomers! He’s super smart. Yes he is really big and strong and healthy. We love him like crazy and are very proud of him. Always fun comparing notes w/you. Give Ben a big hug from his brother. Have a great holiday weekend. Kimberly
