Niro’s Camping Trip at Fisherman’s Island

I wasn’t even sure I was going to put these pictures on the blog as Matt was using a simple camera so the results aren’t up to the usual standard. Anyway, we went rustic tent camping last weekend up to Fisherman’s Island just west of Charlevoix. My sister in law has to be within five miles of the ability to shop otherwise she would not have come along!!

Kora has been camping many times and loves it. It’s the only time she gets away with rolling in the dirt. Niro loved his inaugural night under the stars, snapping at the water’s edge and chasing his sister along the surf (much to my sister in law’s chagrin – she’s the one trying to hold onto Kora as I try to get Niro under some sort of control!).

The second photograph shows Niro seeming to say “OK Mum, we can go back to the tent now, I think I’m wet enough to give off that ‘wonderful’ wet doggy odor!
