Morning pest/visitor

Even though I am not fond of raccoons—I can’t help myself—I have to take their picture.

Sniffing the ground, pretending to graze—Margot, was this guy offering me calming signals?

They are so darn cute. But I don’t want to see them around my house. This part of the country Raccoons carry and spread the killer strains of Leptospirosis Grippotyphosa and Pomona.

I agree with you 100%! I don’t want to see them around here at all. They worry me for fear of rabies. According to my vets, Lepto is not a problem here—yet I still make them vaccinate Kayla! I just blame it on the breeder! Then they say, “Oh, OK.”
