Wildlife part I

Oh Carole and Margot!  I finally have some wildlife pics to share, since I’m not in Michigan at the moment.

I love these shore birds

Crab

A skate that we caught and let go

Pelican

Grass bokeh

Behind our deck, I found all these crabs that must’ve washed in during the flooding.  Now they are stuck in dry sand, no water or food.  I gathered them all up in a basket and released them back on the beach.  This guy was the first one to get going.

According to my dad’s friend, this is THE Geiko gecko

Just an ordinary fern, but I love ferns!

Nice pics. I especially like the skate – very translucent and rainbow-esque.

Lies, you are an awesome photographer and I love all of your “wildlife Series”. The seagull is stunning. Were the spiders really that turquoise blue? Beautiful even though they are spiders (not a fan). Thanks for sharing your holiday.

Screensaver request! I want the grass bokeh full resolution please. All these pictures show side to Alabama I didn’t know about. Very beautiful!
