Super cool!!! It is cold and rainy here in Michigan and the forecast is calling for 4 – 6 inches of snow. These pictures are a lovely sight! Thank you Carole.
You’re welcome! I figured that you had nasty weather—Ann had snow this morning. Our forecast says that your cold weather will be headed our way by Wednesday. In the 80s today and by mid-week in will drop to the 30s & 40s—I’ve never known that to happen in April.
Yikes! I hope your citrus crop isn’t damaged. Do you spray the trees with water if a freeze is predicted? Smudge pots?
Anyways, I love these wonderful photos of some of my favorite subjects. The detail in each photo is exquisite . I want to lean forward and inhale the heady fragrance of the blossoms but I don’t want the honeybees to sting me!
Thanks for giving us a glimpse of your paradise!
Our grapefruit trees have just started to bloom. The orange trees haven’t started yet—everything is late this year because of our cold winter. It is the orange blossoms that have the super heady fragrance!
Our mature trees are on their own when the temps drop. Young trees get blanketed. Yes, FL can be a very strange looking place when people have blankets on all of their plants.
