Maika Resting
Maika is resting with no signs of having her puppies. While sitting here watching Maika grow larger and larger I decided to share a few more pictures from New Year’s Day in Germany:

Nothing yet. Heather emailed me and told me that her psychic radar is telling her Thursday to Friday.
Thursday is 63 days. Gestation is 63 days from ovulation, and we don’t know exactly when she ovulated….
Maika is so short bodied that she truly is looking wider then she is long.

oops that did not work, it was supposed to say:

I went to their site and they had some neat pics of all their dogs together.
We are getting closer….
Maika did not eat anything today, she is digging/nesting. She lying at my feet under my computer desk. She is resting–somewhat– she is panting slowly and deeply almost but not quite a grunt. I don’t know how to describe it but the body starts to look shaky, like it is having small tremors or vibrations—that is what she is doing right now. I image this time as when the reproduction system is gearing up for the big event and it is humming with activity getting everything lined up and in order.
Off to bed, nothing imminent, but we are getting closer.
